It happens all the time but especially around the holiday season, we all seem to get a bit misty about things we had and lost, loves we let get away, things we could have done a bit differently. So I look at this photo project and I think about how much things have changed in my life.
Its a good thing to take a stroll down memory lane every so often, it reminds you who you are.
We are in the midst of a revolution, and we barely even know it. The evolution of HDSLR cameras and Non-linear Editing systems, allow every one and their mother, brother and sister capable of producing high quality videos. Now it is a matter of finding a story to set yourself apart. This video is a perfect example of what the world is looking for, 2 minute clips, with a sharp look, that quickly get to the point and tell a great story.
Enough of my bullshit talk talk .. watch the video if you haven’t already.
Thanks
The Black Cab sessions. “I Blame Coco”. Im hungover, just watch, It made me feel better.
I saw a bearded chap in the subway last night. He was sitting on the platform, playing the banjo, singing this song. Its originally a Bob Dylan tune, but I like the White Stripes version quite a bit. Check it out, this is a nicely fan edited video as well.
“One more cup of coffee” for the road…
“Bro!” … How many times will that word be uttered, screamed, shouted, cryed out, hollered and sighed today?
BREAKING NEWS: Fergie, the Duchess of York will be coming out at halftime to sing “I Gotta Feeling” with the Black Eyed Peas. You heard it here first

After a week long hiatus from drinking, the band El Ten Eleven brought me out of the house to Brooklyn Bowl. Following their relatively, with all my respects, underwhelming performance a video came on the screen. It was the AfroBeatles. It is a Beatles and Fela Kuti mashup. Its cool stuff, givie it a listen.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. That’s what wise people say at least. I like to think I’m relatively wise, not to say I don’t have a ton to learn. I am starting this “blog” mainly because my friend Scott Harris suggested it, and partly as a daily writing exercise.
Although, I’m not writing this for me, I’m writing this for you. So you’re welcome.
Whoever you may be.
